Hi guys,

After three good years of V70 T5 ownership I decided to move back to BMW and picked up a 2001 X5 4.4 V8 sport. So far cant get over the noise and driving position. Car has 120k and has already had gearbox rebuild 8k ago and has an aftermarket eonon head unit (slightly worried about this after reading a few posts)

First job on the list is changing all the roundels for carbon fibre as they are all suffering.

Will upload a couple more pics soon but just a quick one with our 328i out front and the father in laws 530d behind.

Looking forward to spending plenty of time on here

What's the worry about the Xenon conversion?

Welcome- nice car/ and car collection!

Would be alright if it was a xenon conversion, it has an eonon touchscreen stereo which seems fine now but have read some not so good things, most frustrating is there is a 6cd changer in the car which doesn't seem compatible with it.

We have quite a collection of BMWs in the family, list is as follows at the moment
