Hello everybody

Hi all. My name is Paul and I'm currently residing in County Durham. I'm a proud dad to two girls and one inherited teenager. Currently using a V6 Audi A6 as the bus for family outings but it's just not big enough any more. So, having deliberated for the last few weeks and considered XC90's, LR and RR's and Touaregs, I have landed here, with the likelihood I'm going to get myself an X5. Judging by the low mileage versions available and the ridiculously low mileage I'll be doing, I've plumped for the 4.4 facelift. Have actually been lurking here and read hundreds and hundreds of posts already but thought I'd sign up propa!
My dad in law loves my A6 and wants it off me but he can't take it til April next year so I've got tonnes and tonnes of time to look for exactly what I want (and quite possibly change my mind!)
Have to say, this forum seems a darn site more friendly than the other Marques, especially Touareg!! It mustn't be true what they say about BMW drivers, after all. Hehe.
My car history is predominantly German, having only swayed a little when I bought a ridiculously impractical but oh so joyous highly modified Impreza and a frankly miserable, but very practical and reliable Ford Focus.
Look forward to some banter with all of you and maybe buying one of your cars off you next year. Who knows!
