Digital tv?

The soon to be mine 08 3.0d has TV option- dealer said it won't work as it won't be digital? Is this te case? If so is it worth upgrading or is it cost prohibitive?

It should be compatible with Digital TV because BMW started fitting Freeview receivers in 2004. It will be worth asking why the Dealer thinks it won't work?

I think he just doesn't know as its aware option. Will see on Wednesday when I see the car!

Dealers are scary sometimes
You can retune yourself.

Select the correct country, and then auto-tune. As others have said you get digital channels. (Great for watching Dave when the missus is shopping!)
