Hi new member here as this forum seems a bit livelier than the one on BMWland - bought a Black X3 3.0d SE Auto 6 weeks ago and loving it.

In the process of adding tech to it - mods so far - headrest monitors (replace oem headrests) and I've just fitted a chinese sat nav / media unit - which i need to take pics of.

Still to do - activate the aux input, fit a reversing camera, send a video feed from the front to the rear headrests and wire them to a power source properly.ImageImageImage

:hi:

We've got that engine in an E46 Convertible and it pulls like a train.  Apart from the missing M3 soundtrack which certain people on here go on.....and on.......and on about, who needs an M3 when a 330CD MSport is about as much fun for half the price (OK 2/3rds once Mrs X5Sport priced it up with toys)..... :D

Hello & welcome OP  :) that straight six diesel is a cracking engine, I was genuinely shocked the first time I drove our old 330d I had never experienced diesel before that & it opened my eyes I thought they were all slow & smokey!

Enjoy your motor.

It's been split in the wrong place!

Sorry - Not easy to please all.

When splitting topics flow & context is more often than not lost..........Prior to reading your last post I added other content.

I also contributed to the banter so not finger pointing but content became all about others & not the OP.

I have had a hectic week.........Right now it is disproportionate for me to spend further time on this.......

In any case - You stated you consider the off topic content now closed ;)
