What does the sensor (part no 13617787142) fixed to the back end of the inlet manifold do and should it have some sort if a seal to stop the oil leaking out around it??

I ask as I have posted before regarding a oil leak from that area in the past and having finally got round to removing the inlet manifold I spotted the sensor. I took the sensor off which strangely didnt look as if it was fitted snuggly to eliminate any oil leak from there. The manifold itself looked ok and the gaskets all looked fine.

Also when I removed the sensor it looked like a part of it had broken off. Having looked at some images on google with the part number it definately doesnt look the same hence wondering what job this sensor is suppose to be doing.

That`ll be the fuel pressure sensor, should be secured with a bolt/screw

Its does have a bolt through it but still a bit wobbly.
