Just heard about this on the radio.  They say that the police are getting to grips with it. I think as criminals were using the "but you went into the back of me" scenario the insurance companies and police got wise and the criminals have just moved on to something else.  Still not sure how you can prove the other driver flashed you through though?  Crime evolves unfortunately  :(

One of the problems is the highway code only says to flash headlights to let other motorists know you are there. I suppose these guys will use that to their advantage. I'm very defensive when I drive. Too many people running red lights round here and regardless of someone flashing to let me go I will only move if I have room. Having said that I will flash people to let them out of junctions. Getting far too considerate in my old age O:-)

Although she is an original like me,I don't know her so couldn't comment but yes apparently pleasing on the eye but then I woul say that as she looks like an older version of my mrs!
