I started to fit my new focal 5.25's yesterday , after getting the door card off the front passenger side and assessing what to do next I got a call from work so I've had to put the job on hold ,
I have refitted the wiring to the original speakers but I've lost everything to that door , both tweeter and mid ,
The rest of the audio system is working as normal ,
Could i have blown a channel on the amp ?,
Can anyone advise where to start troubleshooting ?
Any advice greatly appreciated,
Bob.

Tricky one, I assume no power was applied whilst the system was out.
The only thing I can suggest as all speakers are gone in that door, is to do the battery reset for 10 minutes or so and see if it comes back after a reset.

Re: E70 Lost audio channel, Struggling for a fix.
Aside from checcking the connections to make sure they are tight- try swapping the loom and tweeter connection on the mid (i think there is a crossover built into it, and if the door loom connector is connected to the output for the tweeter it will not work).
Worth also following the loom side of the cable- from memory there was a secondary plug connection in the door- may have come loose from there.
Don't think you have done any damage to the amp etc as you have just disconnected/ reconnected.
