Storage of Alloy wheels not in use

Simple problem, but I can't find an obvious solution in the UK.

The problem is that around this part of Central Bedfordshire, our BMW dealers are not offering the Winter / Summer Wheel Hotel scheme which means I need to store them myself. I found a device called a Wheelpod on ebay, but the sizes are not big enough to handle the large wheel & tyre combo that our X's need so the storage racks won't cope.

Obviously I don't want to keep the wheels outside as they'll be at risk of theft. Nor do I have access to any fabrication facility and I have never learned to weld so DIY is more of a challenge.

I could use antenna mounting brackets from someone like Moonraker, but that only allows me to store them flat against the wall (high up) and that takes a lot of space.

Have any of you folks either found or got a solution? If I could find a system like the Wheelpod but big enough for the X5/X6 wheels and tyres I'd be a happy owner. It may be that others here may also have this issue too?

Being basic I know, but how about using a garage, secure shed, attic, cellar, space underneath furniture.....either at home or at a relatives, friends, work etc.

I made a partial loft area in a garage so it is high up. Would that be an option?

Shed's full and the garage space has all been stolen by SWMBO's E46. My only option is to wall mount, or store off-site (which may be possible, but a long way away from here).

Ho hum.

I rent a container on a container park in the area, its accessible 24/7 and has good security / lights etc on the site. I keep my wheels, roof boxes, roof bars, trailers etc there for both cars as we don't have a garage and the shed is likewise full of stuff!!! Some storage places rent smaller room size areas quite cheaply.
