Just saw the iPhone app was update today. Looks like some interesting developments ahead (for new cars only I expect!):

These cars are getting too damned complex. The repair bills for those buying used could be horrendous. And of course everything will be a separate (and therefore expensive) upgrade.
I specced up a 3GT over the weekend just for a laugh and it cost almost as much as my E53 did in 2004! £48k!!
. And that wasn't even an MSport or with all the toys. Given the real time impact on (some) people's income since 2008, I can see certain models becoming much poorer spec wise as customers stop adding options.
You're going to need a degree just to remember what everything does.

I have the apps interface, internet radio and facebook/twitter etc.
What a total waste of time. Spent 15 minutes setting it up, realised it was crapola and disabled it.
the FB feed looks like the news articles do, without pics, and seems totally pointless to me.
If I really need to look at facebook, I'll pull over and look at my ipad/phone
