Climate control possible problem

Hi All
My climate control has been working for several months but today when i wanted to clear the windows because it started to rain the blowers did not work.
I left it for a few hours and just started the car again and it started working. I decided to turn it off then back on again and it has stopped working, can someone point me in the right direction please? all the lights on the climate control are on.....
I know my garage replaced the OEM hedge hog with an after market one, would it best to purchase a OEM ?
I have a 2002 3 litre diesel
