The options printout from dealer shows "exclusive black nappa leather" - but BMWs leather options I find really confusing! The 4.8 leather is a bit different to the 3.0i which was also described as "exclusive black nappa" - the 4.8 has two different kinds of leather on the seats, a smooth black and a textured black, while the 3.0s had textured only. The seats also seem to have part of the electric comfort option although they are Sport seats- the front round button for lumbar adjustment is there and working. Another nice touch is the steering wheel adjustment is electric. I'm still very happy and was a bit fed up to have to go to work today instead of having the time to start detailing properly!!!

Very nice Condor, I also had the Exclusive Black Nappa on my 'X' and was as you discribe your 4.8. What sort of mileage has it done?

Just over 27 000 miles, one owner car......it's barely run in, really.....

Glad it is a full leather edition and the not the half-leather as some of the Le Mans editions are.

The 4.8is leather is different to the other models, although it was available to the other models at a huge cost. It is actually "exclusive soft nappa leather" and this is the higher quality smooth leather inserts. One thing I would recommend is to cleanse the leather to remove any silicone polishes and the feed it with a natural treatment. It feels fantastic after that!

One of the nice touches I liked on the 4.8is is the M3 style dash where the lights illuminate on start up on the rev counter and then slowly go out as the engine warms through.

Do you find that the rear Air-Con is noisey?

I've finally got around to putting the cherished plate on retention, got the paperwork back and ordered and received new plates for it.....so I can't think of many reasons why I should still keep it!! As my contract in the South East is drawing to a close its going to get very full up the driveway....and thats really the deciding factor!!! I've started putting an ad together between everything else I have to do, and I've got some decent pics, so in a week or so.......

Thats a nice mileage and 1 owner to boot very rare on one of those. I would also echo Turks comments re: looking after the leather, the soft nappa looks lovely but needs care and no kids seats
