Need a valuation on my car

Thinking of going 'backwards' after some years of X5 ownership, an 840 Ci Sport has been beckoning to me  8)

My car is here Image

Sept 2001 with a phenomenal spec being an ex BMW Park Lane supposedly a 'boss's car'.
Full BMWSH with no gaps. 69K only miles everything is electric, comfort seats, etc,  Digital TV and full voice bluetooth upgrades, the 4.6 wheels and arches etc . The only non working function is drivers seat heating. As with many, the outside bolster has compressed, i suspect fracturing the heater elements.

MOT'd of course until 03/2014

What's it worth to sell to a mate? The most recent PX offer i had was last year at £7k against an AUC 650.

I guess it's round the 5k mark? My facelift 4.4sport with full BMW history and big spec and only 50k draws trade bids of 7 against a new one

Cheers

I've had an 840 CI. It was mint, but I was finding it a tad dated, the heater controls are out of the ark, don't even consider trying to use the rear seats, also these older cars can be a money pit. 2batteries to change !
I enjoyed mine when I had it as a weekend toy, but wouldn't go back there. Mine was a very rare glacier green one, only three in the world according to the 8ers club register. Personally I would go for the 650 if its a coupe your after :)

I bought my 02 4.4 8 months ago, its also a park lane car with 67k on it and a good spec in excellent condition and I paid £5400 for it private. Hope this helps.
