Hi folks
I am just wondering how many brake wear sensors I will need when I change my rear pads - are there one or two needed?
Cheers

One front, one rear. So just one for your job.

Think it's front near side and rear off side where they are. If you change the pads before the light comes on the dash you will not need new sensors. If the light comes on then the sensor has had the wire worn away by the low pad thickness. It only takes one of the two sensors to activate the light, so you will need to find out which one has worn.

Re: Rear brake wear sensors
Thanks very much for your speedy answers. This is such a helpful forum!
My check brake linings went on just as I was setting off on a 500 mile round trip. Not sure how much of the sensor will be left by the time the discs and pads are fitted
