Has anybody got a drivers side mirror body - just the internal bit...

Hi all,
Stripped my drivers side folding mirror down to remedy a problem (it's not folding in).
Turns out the driver that whacked the mirror did more than damage the internal gears - the whole die cast mirror internal was fractured.

If anyone has one knocking around, I'm willing to buy it.
I don't need the motor, gears, glass, puddle light, motor shrouds, electrics, mount or anything else, I just need the metal internal body or chassis.

Here's a pic of the bit I mean showing the damage.

OK, no luck, so could anyone recommend a decent BMW scrap yard in the Guildford/surrey area?

Hi

I have used 2 BMW breakers from eBay both helpful, one was McFall spares and the other north Wales range rover spares, may be worth doing a quick search.

Both do BMW and send items to you.
