Is that the new alcantara wheel? I've been fancying that myself.
Not sure how you go about changing them, the airbag sensor thingy might need resetting, I know my brother had an ex BMW mechanic change his wheel for him so everything worked.

It is a straight forward thing to swop stg wheels, but take out the airbag fuse first.
Also have heard that the alcantara wheels wear out very quickly.
I fitted the 'M' E46 wheel with paddleshift, works and looks great.
No pics, can,t fathom how to load them.

I'd prefer it in leather but it's really chunky and only in alcantara

You are right indeed sir, I did have the Dension thingy but most of that is being ripped out, so let's call it a cancelled mod and I shall start again with my mod count.
Thanks for the offer from your cousin but I know the guy in the local dealer and he uses his discount for me.

This one is for the X5/X6 so will work. I have also heard that it is not a tricky job.

Looking at a steering wheel on ebay that I could send to get retrimmed. I have got the part number, 6778744, how do I check if that is compatible with my car?
