OBD goes of and flickers on and off

my OBD flickers on and off sometimes
then comes back on later or a day later
any ideas

Hi Jack ,  mine does the same from time to time , i also get a crackling in the speakers some times , i asked on here and was told it could be a bad connection in the ribbon cable in the head unit , or a module in the boot , where do ya start ... mine hasnt done it for a few weeks now so i left it alone , you can check back on some older  threads for the same problems and get some more fix info , good luck .
