parking sensors and boot colour...

Morning all,
after 3 months of ownership my front and rear parking sensors decided to work last night for the 1st time!
. Went out there just now to try again and i started it up, put it into reverse and got just the long beep again and now not working again >:( . All the sensors are clicking, so would it be both front and back sensor control boxes gone?
Also my boot well is white but the truck is black, any thoughts, are they meant to be, there is no history of a rear shunt, and it drives perfectly.
