BMW E30 M3 vs BMW 320d

The BMW E30 M3 is a hero car. In its day, it was considered seriously quick. But has its performance stood the test of time or will it be humbled by today's far more mundane 320d.

What a pointless video (not aimed at OP)
Shock horror new car is faster than 25 year old car in a straight line ::)
New one wouldn't have a clue which way m3 went around the twisties

Not pointless at all! A 2l standard repmobile is only just slower than an M3. Would you believe that in 2038 salesmen will be hacking round the M25 in standard saloons that are only fractionally slower than your Audi?!

not really true though as the e30 m3 was only released so bmw could rally (I think) its also a small revvy 4 pot engine and the e30 325i (6 pot)what I had I think has same power so the e30 is an iconic car but wasn't really top of the range as an m3 is today
