Got my car sorted FINALLY!

After my previous troubles with my 4.6is and discovering low compression in one cylinder, I finally found a garage to take it on a few weeks ago and we discovered a leaking head gasket and a cracked head.
It all got dismantled, refurbished and put back together in under a week but then waiting for silly parts from BMW added a week on. Resetting the timing was fun too, having to rent the proper tools.
Any way, a new head gasket, new water pump, new belts, new timing chain tensioner, a bundle of new gaskets, new timing chain guides, and a 'ton of other bits we changed that I can't remember' later, the car is running beautifully!
Not a single squeak, squeak or rattle and no misfire, it now runs so smooth that you honestly cannot tell the engine is on when it's idling.
The car was not right when I bought it in March so it's like a new car to me. To say I'm happy with it now is an under statement.
