i know here some will be in favour, others will hate.
whats your opinion of professionally tinted windows on the e53? ................ particularly silver

Think he means on a silver x5!?
All depends on what shade you get done really, I'm not a fan of the 'limo' black look, prefer the medium or dark smoke.

No problem with tinted windows as long as they're legal. BMW do them from OEM anyway.... Note that if you do the front ones, you'll need to remove them at sale if too dark.

I'm a fan of tinted windows on a silver X, I think my rears are factory and a previous owner has had the front windows tinted with a light smoke although this pic makes them look a lot darker than they really are:

Hi I have just had mine done. Limo black everything behind the b pillar, guy who did it said due to all x5's (e53) having tinted glass (green) anything he put on the fronts would make it over the limit. Having the rear done makes the front look a bit darker anyway, mins black anyway so kind of finishes it off IMO of course.

o like tinted window i have mine done i did get stoped by the fuzz and had to change the front ones for a lighter ones will get a pic up soon for you
