Hi from Brissle

Hey guys, quick hello from a newbie xdriver! My 4th BMW but first X - previously a 520d, Z4 coupe and a much loved E92 335i m-sport.... Been looking at the X6 for ages, waiting for the right spec....
She's a late 2010 X40d, ind. Azurite Black, with Ind. Champagne leather, comfort seats & lumber, heads up, speed limit, sunroof, business radio with HDD pro sat nav, comfort access, soft close doors, full cameras, lane warning... plus other stuff I've probably forgotten...
Overall, very pleased, great driving position, can throw her around like my old E92. Took a bit of getting used to a diesel again and may have to have a remap after the AUC warranty runs out. Ride is quite harsh, more noticeable than the E92, but no where near as bad as he Zed! May have to swap the RFTs!
Anyway, hello and a few pics after an earlier quick detail....

And a very warm welcome from a fellow X6 owner - even if the crew on here think Man Pink such as on mine and Don's isn't a proper colour for the X6......
The ride is hard, more so on 20" wheels, due to RFT fitted. And yes you can chuck em about thanks to the clever rear axle that the X5 bus drivers don't get......19" wheels give a softer ride. Personally I don't mind it and with my other half suffering from car sickness she prefers a hard ride.

Hey Richard there's nothing wrong with MAN PINK
) I'd love an X6 but the pennies are tight at the moment and I'm glad the other half likes a hard ride >:D.

Cheers guys....
Find it's a real marmite car! I love the look and style, but find the reactions of others interesting.....
Think non RFTs are the way to go. I think less than 20s wouldn't look right in the arch.
