Towbar advice please?

Hi all just brought my first caravan and had a new witter detachable swan neck fitted with the dedicated wiring kit, what does this kit do? Mind you the car has got to go back to the fitter on Thursday because since having it fitted the rear near side pdc and the rear near side middle pdc have gone down cheers Gareth
