Thoughts on this potential X5 buy?

Hi everybody
Haven't bought a new car in years. Currently drive a 2003 325Ci coupe but the missus is about to pop and has put her foot down, so the coupe is gonna go.
I just put down a test drive deposit for an X5 Will be trying it out on Saturday. Have to trek a fair hundred miles plus to get to it though, so was hoping for people's thoughts on whether this is a bad/good/great deal, and whether I can ask for more money off it or what added extras would make sense to ask for, as I'm gonna have to decide there and then pretty much once the drive is over.
I'm buying from an official BMW AUC dealership. Originally saw this on the BMW website for £45k but then it's dropped to £43k, and then £42.5k on my first asking. Story is that it's been on their books for a few weeks since it was sold but finance fell through so it had to go back on the market, so they needed to drop the price to sell quick. Originally owned by a dude but his wife said it was too big so traded it in for an X3. Allegedly.
It's an X5 xdrive40d M-Sport, registered Sept 2012, 3k miles on clock, titanium silver, black nevada interior. Here are the additional options:
20" M Double-spoke style 333M alloy wheels
Bootlid operation. powered
Dark Bamboo wood interior trim
Ext. mirrors - folding. auto dimming
Exterior trim. High-gloss Shadowline
Internet
Loudspeaker system - BMW Business
Media package
Panoramic glass sunroof
Reversing Assist camera with Top View
Seat heating. front
Sun protection glass
Third-row seating
Towbar. detachable
Dealer has also offered £3k for the coupe, which I think is actually ok... I'm toying with the idea for the added convenience as well.
So... what does everyone think? Is this a no-brainer yes on paper?
Cheers
Ben
