Afaik these came as standard kit with all UK E53's.

Is yours from your car or an additional one you have ?

HI,

That's not a dog guard. Its the cargo net. However it could work as a dog guard if need be.

I've got the same one and put it this way it stops a 13 month old Rottweiller jumping onto my back seats  :).

Sorry, its from my car. Seen they were going on Ebay for £50+, I dont need it so figured I would be better off with the money for something else! :)

Thanks for clarifying.

The cargo net is a safety item & was supplied to new cars so it could be fitted when required to reduce risk of passenger injury from cargo.........Personally I wouldn't sell mine just as I wouldn't remove & sell the rear head restraints which also serve to reduce injury to occupants. If I was buying a used X5 with the cargo net missing I would reduce offer price to allow for absence of same.

That said I totally accept it's your car and yours to sell off original parts from as you may see fit ;)
