Some stupid F****r has scratched my car not even one month old!!!!!!!

I feel your pain.  I had some twonk back into me and damage my rear bumper.  He just said, sorry mate I didn't see you. :doh:

It's not as if the X6 is small, and Man Pink isn't an easy colour to miss.

18months later some git in B&Q rammed the car with a trolley and effed off quick...... :rant: :rant:

Feel for you Peter, although it looks more accidental than on purpose if there is such a thing. If on purpose, I would have expected a longer scratch  :rant:

Either way, I'm sure a good machine polish would get most if not all out, not what you want I know but thats the joy of car ownership  ::)

Get one of the mobile scratch guys out they are good. Or ring my man John in Princess Motorbodies in Stockport and say robin recommended you. They do all my cars, have done for years.

yeah go over it with some 1500 wet and dry and them machine polish it, it may make it less obvious....

So sorry to see that - gutting.  I just don't get these people.  Much of the time I think it's very jealous people who see a nice car they know they'll never be able to own themselves.  Best paint colour too IMHO!

The other week I caught a delivery truck driver off loading a massive swinging steel girder over the top of my X5 (house down road being rebuilt) - when I rushed out to tell him to be careful he just responded "shouldn't have a nice car like this in London as it's bound to get bashed up".  Class.

Btw if anyone knows a good mobile service that covers London I'd be interested as the car has picked up a few minor scrapes courtesy of being parked in the road.

I'm with chompers on this one............In absence of further info it doesn't look like malicious damage. If someone was intent on damaging the car I personally feel they would have done far worse. I reckon it's accidental, or as I prefer to regard it...........inexcusable careless damage.

I haven't seen the scratch or depth but hopefully it can be machine polished out maybe after touched in & flattened out............not advocating you do this yourself in absence of kit required &/or a little prior experience with such like damage.
