I have a brand new F10 courtesy car while the X5 has the wheels changed, the idrive is leaps and bounds better than my 2011 version, everything works and feels better it's such a shame we can't update ours to work like this.
I believe the new X5 has a touch panel on top of the control knob so will be interested in how this works too.
