To get Jig and X5Sport into the spirit of things I thought I'd post these up. Have to say it's very nice to be back in a vert even if it's only once a week if lucky  ::) Looking forward to a blast over to Pas Du Calais this weekend and hopefully some nice weather 

U r a baaaad man! looks brilliant...

I love the look of these  but what are your thoughts Chompers on a diesel soft top do you think the two should go together? Canal boat thoughts enter my head & I have always (probably wrongly) thought that a large benefit of a roof off car is to enjoy the sound of the engine a little more a nice high revving petrol, or do I live in the dark ages?

Lee, I know exactly what you mean. If money was no option in terms of purchase/running then am e93 M3 vert would be for us or a new 6er  >:D but you have to be sensible and this car does everything we need. Mrs Chompers drives it daily on a 60 mile round trip, so near on 15k a year ex pleasure mileage, we also have 2 kids so that ruled out a Z4 or the like and the 20d @ 184bhp is no slutch, sure its only 20bhp down on the 330cd vert we had 8 years ago. its good to drive and you really would struggle to tell the difference at cruising speed on light throttle. yes I know the combo is note for everybody, but I have no complaints what so ever  :drive:

If you were allowed to get that mapped you'd see close to 230-235bhp perhaps.

Saw a 1 Series Sport Plus with 1k on the clock come into Jason's last week and the dyno registered 140bhp from factory (not bad when they quote 143bhp) and then after the remap I saw the dyno reading show 187bhp!!!

Very nice, even the dog knob red interior looks ok

Excellent Chompers  it will be a super all round package for you  it is a little pot kettle from me tbh because I test drove a E93 330d last year when we were looking to swap the 330d saloon & I loved it alot but it pretty much sold straight away while we were considering the numbers, then we ended up with the TT-S.

I love the shape,red on white & wheels on yours & I think it looks the business with the roof down, enjoy. 

Very nice and snap , just like the wife's car .

Wish we had keeped it now the sun is out

It'll be my car for the BW treatment first  >:D as and when funds allow  ::)
Even more so now mrs Chompers has the quicker car. Anything over 200bhp + extra torque would do it for me.
