hi all,
        a bit confused...i have a 2003 e53 3.0i petrol m54 auto, cant seem to get a straight answer as to what oil to use when changing the transfer box oil, also mass confusion as to what auto box oil to use...
any advice greatly accepted.....

Auto box oil should be on a label on the box - a pain to get at but it is written there and you must use the right one.

I've got an '05 and had the transfer box oil changed at Easter , so I'll have a look at the
bill when I get home and see if it tells me .

On my bill it's got Transfer Box Oil X Drive 1l , part number 83220397244 £26.25
