rear wheel spacers

have 22 inch rims on x5 e53 2005  is it worthwhile adding wheel spacers on the rear to give it a more beefy stance , any advice

Assume you already have flared wheel arches kit fitted?  If not then you'll need it if you use spacers.

You need to provide more details on current rim width and offset to know whether spacers are advised. If you have the space (irrelevant of whether you have the arch extensions) then spacers can be fitted for sure.

Also what size spacers are you considering?

Funnily enough I was just looking at my rear wheels today and thinking "since I put the 22s on they seem to sit inboard quite a way and don't fill the arches" I will watch this thread with interest. Maybe look at a set of 25mm spacers myself.

Any pictures of the current setup? Its impossible to say whether they're worthwhile until we see how far in the wheels sit at the moment
