I think if 535 ever admitted to buying the wrong car, the event would be so massive as to rip a hole in our reality and destroy the space-time continuum.

Maybe.

No I don't think so I always think the Rs are good which ever model, a friend of a friend has a Rs6 with V10 engine and he loves it.

Yes I'm impressed with the 3.0 supercharged v6 but it juts show what supercharging and turbo charging and mapping can do for a car.

Off to see if I can supercharge the v6 TT

for me the last statements said it all -  'most of these R models are a case of hit or miss, the rs4 is quite a compromised driving machine'

Thanks for that Chomps, had seen it elsewhere.

Couple of points

1) the V6 sounds shit compared to the V8
2) It still looks like a reps car without the widened arches and different bumper set up
3) My tuning days of the daily runner are over due to the warranty issues

The '6' will be too big and too much of a barge to have any fun in, it will be a straight line weapon and that's it which too me is totally boring.

It will drop in value like anything too whereas the '4's hold their money very well

I've got the brochure for the 6 and to get it to the same spec as mine you are looking at £90k. Couple of nice options on top of mine and you can get over £100k easily. That is bonkers money which will probably only be worth £40k in 3 years at best. Unlike you haven't got £60k to through away on cars.

Depends on your perspective.

I already have one of the best handling cars made followed up by a not too shabby reserve

The RS4 can hold it's own to a degree with the added benefit of actually being able to take others in it comfortably too!
