so the only thing the m3 had when i bought was the tyre pressure light was on, after 2 new rear tyres were put on, i thaught no biggy ill just turn them off but i cant seem to access the menu to to this, thanks

The advert says it's good fo E46's, does it use the pressure sensor caps or the traction control to spence the low pressure, has it a button on the dash like the facelift E53?

it has a button to restet on the dash but i reset it then 5 minutes later its back on

The tyre pressure section on the scanner refers to the old pre facelift system I think, so it probably won't highlight it on a scan, hence the reason you can't success it. I'm not sure which section the traction controlled system would be under without having a look through the menus.
