We don't really want to see it ..... It's only 20% better than your average x5.

I.e (x6/x5 X 100)-100.

:-)

Nice, think its the first red one I've seen (well, not actually seen but you know what I mean) like the mud flaps.

Colour wide it was - to quote a certain comparison advert.............My Wife's Choice :D

I had the mudflaps fitted to try to keep as much rubbish off the paint as possible. Time will tell if it works!!

At present there is a slight snaggette in that the paint has some defects and the car is going to a BMW paint centre in a week's time to have the blemishes (and a scratch) sorted out. The Dealer did put the Autoglym paint protection system on f.o.c, and the rear bumper has the OEM protector fitted which is a real PITA job to do, but they did OK.

The engine is very free revving and pulls like a train even with only 60 miles on the clock. I have been up to the UK speed limit which is well below the running in speed and rpm are only 1400. Still gives 34mpg at that with mixed town, dual carriageway driving so I'm impressed so far.T he new 8 speed ZF gearbox is very smooth with changes being hardly noticed. 70mph comes up VERY quickly even using less than 3,000 rpm.

The iDrive is something else though. I think it will take me a week to even start to understand it. Handy being able to send and address from Google Maps to the car and then having the SatNav take you there though. That's really quite cool. What the rest of it does I have no idea

iPhone music works over Bluetooth with cover art and no 'Y' cable required. CD player in the front also plays DVD movies and they sound great with the pro speaker pack. I did not add a multichanger, but can always do so later.

The rest of the toys will have to wait until later as today is a work day, but I have next week off... :D :P
