iPhone 5 Cradle

Post by sramsay » Fri Apr 12, 2013 6:15 pm

I still have an iPhone 4 but thinking about an upgrade once the 5S or 6 comes out.  Rumours are that it could be in a few months.

Prompted me to have a look at whether BMW have released an updated cradle and it appears they have but are charging €399!  I purchased the iPhone 4 cradle when I bought the car but I'm sure it was "only" £150'ish.

Is this where the 6NF option HAS to be ticked to get the full benefit?

From memory I think yes and possibly a few others! I recall when I ordered it the parts guy said there were several iPhone 4 cradles depending on what options were in the car?

I had hoped it would mean the hideously slow Internet option would use my phones 3G connection but it doesn't. I won't select that option again! I was lured by the relatively cheap price (£95 I think) but I'd have been better off investing in a 15 year old laptop and mounting it on the dash!!!

Glad you said that - was same money for Jig's 123d. Thankfully he didn't pick that option - since he changes his phones quicker than I change my socks!
