Hi i am new to the forum, some of you many have seen my post in the problems section so i thought i better introduce myself properly and the X
The car is a 2001 3.0d with 125,000 miles it dose have the odd mark her and there but nothing a good mate of mine cannot fix and get her looking perfect again.
As for me i am based in manchester well bolton actually but done like to admit that too often  :))
I have uploaded a few of quick pictures i took last night will put some better ones on at weekend after my mate has has the weekend polishing it and getting the few little marks out of her.
Anyway now she is all fixed i will hopefully have many miles happy motoring in her now.

Hi and welcome to the forum. What was the outcome of your gearbox woes, the last we heard you were getting the gearbox supplier out to have a look.
You can't be far from where I live, I'm between Bury and Bolton. I've got a BMW scanner 1.4.0 if you need to code anything let me know.
Hope the X starts to behave herself now the box is sorted.

Hi it turned out that it was to do with the electric box on the bottom of the box something had gone in there so was a bit of a relief to be honest as it did not cost my anymore money.
Im actually based in Westhoughton so im the other side of bolton to you but still not far. Thanks for that i hope i dont have to do anything else on it for a long tome haha.

Welcome to the maddest site on the net.  It's also the only X rated site that you can tell the missies about!  ::)

Guess that should have been the 'mrs' not sure the mods would like 'X' rated issues being discussed on here, then again with PVR back on the scene, who knows  ::)
