door mirror strip down

hi guys i know i asked how to strip these down on the old forum but could do with reminding as i have got hold of some electric folding mirrors and they need painting or swapping covers with mine hopefully but just cant split the little fxxxers

Phiggy.... you need to apply plenty of (controlled) pressure especially if thay haven't been of before. Also the glass/mirror slides up to take it off
A great mod this one and one of the first things i did on my latest x after having them on the old one they were a must.I didn't realize that they were an option untill i came to press the button on the new one and it wasn't there
you'd think on a 50k ish car that these luxuries would be free
