20" wheels - where to buy

All,
Looking for 20" Le Mans type wheels or Style 87. Local dealership wanted £3500 for Le Mans wheels and tyres new! The question is, where is best to look out for these types of wheels? eBay or a trusted site elsewhere?
I have 19" now on an E53 sport. Will I need spacers to fit the 20"? How does the car generally ride with 20" wheels?
Sorry, lots of questions. I am based in Edinburgh.

You might need wheel arch extensions if you don't already have them because the tread will exceed the arch making it an MOT failure. Other than that they should just fit if the 87s are E53 OEM equipment.
Ebay is one place to look, but be wary of 'copies' which may be claimed as being original. Not sure if somewhere like pistonheads may have them. It may just need patience (or luck) and a set will appear.
Front part no: 36116753516. (No tyres)
Rear part no: 36116753517. (No tyres)

The original 4.6is wheels I believe.
Post in the wanted section of any BMW forum ( UK ) as you never know your luck. As well as the likes of gumtree and also search breakers yards. These cars have been around a while now. I would suggest putting up a photo with your request as many wont know what style their wheels are.

Thanks all.
What is the part number for the arches and if you get that eBay name it would be great!?

2006? Also, have you got aluminium side steps fitted? I think the kit is from the 4.8is and Sanj will probably know the exact parts needed as I think he has them on his. If you have mud flaps then I believe they have to come off too - or be modified in some way.

Best place is eBay really. Just need to keep an eye out on there or possibly pistonheads.
As for spacers, etc you'll be fine running them and they do not exceed the wheel arches even without the arch extensions. I've got a 4.8is (so the 168's were standard) and I even ran 20mm spacers with them and they still were tucked in the arch extensions. The arch extensions help the look but aren't necessary.
