Hi has anyone heard of 'The Engine Centre' Brent Road, Southall, next to purple parking? Would appreciate some feedback on them as might be looking to have my engine rebuilt by them. Nearly got caught out by a garage in Cardiff who seemed to good to be true and they were, managed to find some reviews of them and no-one had anything good to say. Or if anyone knows of a reputable engine remanufacturer / rebuilder please pass on. If you are wondering why please read my thread ' Swarf In Oil'.

Sorry I cant recommend anyone

Click here for good garage guide & maybe speak to some good independents for recommendations.

Depending on cost it may make more sense to sort a salvage engine - maybe call Quarry Motors.

Try contacting Jason at B&WChip Tune, he is not far from them and may have an opinion on them or be able to provide an alternative.

I have never used them myself personally but my sister did try about 8 months back and they claim to have everything in stock but generally donâ€™t - so problems she received where time to repair vehicle 3 weeks, vehicle had to be taken back 3-4 times to deal with various problems. In the end she went to another dealer who quoted slightly more but was able to do job properly and took 4 months + small claims court to resolve. My opinion donâ€™t touch them spend a bit more and get the job done correctly.

I've just seen your post, so might be too late to help but don't touch them with a barge pole.
I read the glossy info and lost my car as a result. They are cowboys.

We have repaired a lot of ecu's for them and tuned a few cars for them, they have always paid up
