Purchased a BMW X5 M Sport. Was really pleased until i just saw my front tyres need replacing after 3500 miles.

Called dealer and they told me it was normal wear.

Welcome to the forum, 3500 miles??!??... no chance should they need changing, id get onto the garage and try and get something towards them, but i wouldnt hold your breath.

Hi and welcome fella.
Am I hearing this right? 3.5k from new tyres?? Surely not.
When I bought my X5 I had the dealer knock £500 of the price because the front hoops were down to 4mm.

As you have no doubt gathered, this is not normal. I would be taking your finds to the dealer. Can you also confirm the tyre size and load rating as this may highlight whether or not you have the correct tyres fitted. A picture or the worn tyre could also help us with a fuller picture.

That is marginally more than I get out of the soft tyres on my track car which for the way it is used is how it should be !
