When you get back to Blighty you'll feel like you could make the journey back there and then (because the X is so good over long journeys, not because the Daily Mail readers think the UK is going to the dogs!).

Always felt we should employ Leslie Philips to stand at Dover saying "welcome back old boy!" to passing Brits.  I guess in a German registered X that might not have applied to you.  I'm rambling.  Enjoy the drive.

Yes it was a much more quite and relaxing drive than our previous car,Golf plus.

if you see any x drivers welcoming u in dover u know its us  )
