Hi all, newbie here, thought i would say hello, from south wales near cardiff, looks nice a nice informative site here.
Been looking around for another Bm after my E46 330ci Clubsport last year.
I went and saw an X5 the other day  in Cardiff but the salesman said that a deposit had been taken for a today pick up etc, anyway, the salesman rang me earlier to say the guy hasn't shown up and that the car is back for sale.
Went down earlier to see it, and cut a good deal and drove it away.

Spec:
52 plate 3.0D M Sport in Black
100k miles so quite low/average
full bmwsh
Inps2 done in Aug 12
new recon auto box and selector etc in Aug 12
4 brand new tyres in Nov 12
removable towage never been used, but all the electrics all professionally done.
light pack/tv pack/comms pack
electric leather seats
front & back PDC
Sat Nav
running boards.
It is immaculate, with 2 yr Citroen warranty, 6 months tax new mot.
Has I needed it today to go on hols tomorrow, I got to go back in 2 weeks where it will be professionally valeted and mopped etc.

Future mods are update the lights to angel eyes and give the other interior/exterior lights a make over, black kidney grills, then onto the power.

Welcome Jamee, Welcome, I have only been here a week myself but in that short space of time i have found the people here warm and welcoming and a very knowledgeable lot to boot. Looking forward to some pics.

Future mods will be hids or angel eyes as normal halogen lights, interior light bulb upgrade, sat nav update, and probably more i forgot.lol

Raj, yeah it was, he had put a deposit down but couldnt raise the cash until next week, so the manager said tuff basically. Bit mean but worked in my favour.

Hi and welcome to the forum, result getting one with the refurbed  gearboxes as this is a worry when purchasing an X5 with all the reports of gearbox trouble, however sometimes exaggerated.

Another former Clubsport owner here too.

Also my X5 came via a similar set of circumstances. Someone went to buy it but couldn't raise the funds so it went back on sale.
