There where dipped, blasted, then powder coated satin black, then dark gunmetal, & clear gloss powder coat to finish ....

The rubber in the background looks like it has a nice tyre wall lip to 'somewhat' protect the lips. Be careful with them buddy - you know how awful they'll look kerbed! Big shiny silver jagged edge against that dark finish.

Had real trouble sourcing tyres, those are vredestein s, great tyres as you will know, but I have had to settle for some Toyo ST proxes now, and they don't have much tyre wall ! However the wife an I are pretty good with regard to kerbing, not done any for the last 2 years !

They look spot on. Will look moody against the black paintwork too.

Going to add to that with a black carbon fibre wrap on the roof, rear diffuser, side skirts and two bottom corner bits of the performance bumper, ooh and the kidneys.

Don't jinx it now!
Toyo's you're right, not so great on the tyre wall protection, Michelin's on the E53 were really good. Vred's are good tyres but the tyre wall I don't know about.
You won't be disappointed with the Toyo's though! And at the price!
You know the deal! Pics my man! Don't care if you're 20,000 leagues under the sea!

When it's all complete ill post some pics for sure Should be all done before returning to the abyss!
Had these Toyos before and they seem a good tyre and wear really well .... £ 800 alround! Not bad ....
