Simba new caddy van

Picked up the caddy on Thursday and thought id do some mods on Friday and Sat overall I'm please with it few issue (the wiper spindle broke looks like it was welded on but i'll have to source a new one lucky its the passanger side, and the heater only works on number 4, so not sure what that can be but i'm going to buy a second hand unit to see if that fixes it). Apart from that its a nice van needs a remap but stuff like that can wait for now
anyway I'm happy with it Olli (the chap I brought it from) did a great job on painting the whole thing and the carpet in the rear looks ace. I want to do the A pillars I just need to get them out (I assume there just clipped in).
The van was silver but the chap I brought it from was a painter so it was resprayed an Audi A5 colour (door shuts, engine bay etc etc all done). side door handle welded over and the rear doors smoothed along with other bits. The car is on coilovers with flipped rear axle and has the Scirocco R seats in. the rear has all been done in carpet head to toe no panels are visible.
First off was to remove the front bumper so I could get the headlights out to lamin x them and fit some HID's.
Bumper off
rear lights out
Next up the wheels are nice but were a bit bland for me (they looked like primer..even though they were not, as this is going to just be a fun van to doss around in and take the dog out I thought id go mad and do some experiment with some panits lol, its actually got some nice pearl in it so changes colour.
Wheels off
As the alloys were not kerbed I just had to scotch them down (I did notice that the wheels were actually a very similar colour before how strange lol
While they were off i thought id also do the VW badge
My painter phil doing the dude (even though he thought I was mad lol)
fitted, Lamin covered lights, HID, LED rear reg plate lights, silver indicator bulbs
side view
Just need to get some big brakes and spray them white to set of the rims
Not to everyones taste and very different to my X6 but hey thats what modding is about lol!
Enjoy i'll post up more pics as I mod the van
