Why the hell would you want that stuck to the back of your X5
for a start it must weight a ton and secondly you have RTF's. I would also guess that the carrier would note meet type approval hence it is not shown on the uk accessory list and inputting the part no. on realoem.com shows no results either.

RFT are great but not to happy with no spare wheel just the thought of breaking down with a punture on the weekend, weight is not an issue or would certainly not of bought an X5.

Yes, but you have BMW emergency assistance!!! So if you get an issue they will sort it out. I would also guess that wheel carrier only takes an 18" wheel so what would you do with the 1 you take off the car?
Can see the benefit in Oz but not here.

For drivers with lpg (the donut fuel tank takes up the spare wheel space) this would seem to me the ideal solution.
I have my tyres fill with puncture repair fluid and am not 100% sure they will seal as I have not had a puncture in the 4 years with lpg.
Any ideas if it will fit the E53?
