I'm really liking your colour combination and wheel set up.

Thanks Don.
Not sure about the Oyster. It is a very nice contrast but the battle with jeans dye seems never-ending and I appear to be on the losing side.

I had the oyster/black combo on my previous BMW a F10 520d.
I loved it, and to be honest, with some 41k in 22 months, never had an issue with the seats, yes they needed a wipe from time to time, but it certainly didn't put me off the light interior. (Just as well)

I've always managed fine with baby wipes previously and never had any problems with the light interior of my E70. My wife is wearing particularly dark jeans nowadays that do bleed dye. Maybe I need to wipe them down a bit more often.

Loving the colour and wheels. I've got oyster and two very messy young boys - no probs at all keeping it clean. Although I try and avoid dark jeans to save the extra cleaning work ...

The seats? The jeans? Or do you mean you the jeans while still being worn by the misses?

I know, I know. I didn't go for the auto box on the F10 as I was looking purely at fuel economy. However, within seconds of driving it off the forecourt I realised I'd made a mistake as the F10 deserves an auto box.
As for the steering wheel (picky!) I was taking some pictures of the car and had the wheels turn to enhance the pictures ::)

I bought my X3 3.0d with a manual, at the request of my wife. Whattamistakatomake-a!
Really hard sell come resale time but it was eventually snapped up by some city hotshot who said his wife wanted a manual.
Crazy women!

Now wouldn't you expect it to be the blokes insisting on the manual gearbox due to them then being such hotshot drivers?
