Hello another 4.8 in Berks

Three months in to ownership and enjoying it. Can't complain at 16mpg, you know what you are getting into.......! Going to dealer today for sunroof repair under warranty.

Got the dealer to sell some used 21s for 300, put non run flats on and a huge difference to ride and profile.

Hello and welcome,

Great to hear life's good with your thirsty X.  Hopefully nothing too serious with the sunroof I trust.  Now all we need is a few photos and more info on the spec.

Enjoy this great forum, hopefully as much as you will enjoy your car.

:hi: aboard. Loads of useful info on here punctuated by good banter  :) glad you have a warranty to cover that sunroof they can be a right pain in the ar$e. Good price for the wheels, bet the tyres cost an arm and a leg RFL or not!!!

Hello and  :hi: from me too.......not good about the roof.  I hoped BMW had sorted that after the issues on the E53.

Tyres were £1200, BMW wanted £2k so relatively "cheap"  :'(  not.

Not particularly high specked, Dynamic package and rear DVD, but only 3 yrs old with 14k on the clock, suits me fine as I only do 5k a year myself.  Would be quite quick were it not for towing the petrol tanker behind it !

One thing I have noticed that there is some sort of rattle from the rear, is that the tailgate?  Cheers

I do like those wheels, am I right in saying they are slightly darker in colour than normal?

Very nice and congrats. Good job you have the warranty as the sunroof could have been very costly depending upon what was wrong with it.
