Tyre Pressure Non Run Flats

Post by Avtar » Sat Mar 02, 2013 11:44 am

Been on the Michelin Non Run Flats for a few days now, definate improvement in ride. What would those who are on them recommend as tyre pressures for the 20's, i currently have 36 all round.

2.2 bar on mine.  36 sounds too high and I would have thought gives a harsher ride than the normal pressure?  Try coming down to 31/32psi.  I ran that on the E53 with RFT and now on the X6 with 20".

Agree with Richard. Run around 31/32, putting the pressure up too high will cause early wear in the centre of the tyres and could effect handling.

What a difference with the right tyre pressures, feels so much better, will also be coming of the winter run flats when the time comes
