e53 bluetooth connectivity

I am having no luck connecting the bluetooth I have read many pieces of advice and the manual and been down the dealership they had a quick look but want to charge labour to diagnose further as couldn't pair it any more than I could any last minuute advice before I start chucking cash at the dealership?

Could be the module is knackered if not pairing at all or just a connection issue. You may need to plug a scanner or the like in to see if it highlights anything or just start striping it down yourself.

I'm sure you've already checked , but is the phone you're trying to hook up a compatible model .
I know some phones won't work with certain models .

Hi

Iirc on a previous thread it may also be worth deleting any old pairings as may be at limit and so will not pair
