Just a small observation, but it would be helpful if posting insurance quotes, prices, that the insurance company is named, gives us all a chance.

52, 9+ yrs NCD, 2-drivers, F/C, kept on Drive, 10k miles (SDP&C &  personal business) on a 2011 X6 40d at current market value with 1 'no fault' recorded and the 3rd party paid up.

Aviva - £662 (renewal).  Excess £800
Saga. - £453 (alternative 1).  Excess £650
John Lewis - £348 (alternative 2 and taken).  Excess £450 total.

Compare the Meerkat were anywhere from £239 with £800 excess up to £2,500 with £1,000 excess.
