Failed mot due to ratchet not working on handbrake
Does anyone know how to remove handbrake lever
does centre console need to be removed if so how.

Sorry to hear that.

Pull the leather gaiter and you should have access to it. Otherwise the side panels come off - one scew under the footwell and then pull against the poppers. Do the front half first and then the rear half.
