Hi All,
Picked up a new X5 30d M Sport last weekend and it is fantastic! Space grey with Oyster leather and 7 seats. I should have bought one years ago.
I looked for a dog guard on Accessories section on the BMW site, but couldn't see one. Can anyone recommend a good one?
Looking forward to participating in the forums and thanks in advance for all the useful advice I'm sure you will provide.

Welcome.
Looks like the family like it!
Can't help on the dog guard, sorry. What dog do you have?

Welcome.....
5 or 7 seat? There is no guard for the 7-seater but there appears to be some kind of product for the 5-seater.
Dog Guard. You will need to give the Dealer the part number or they may not believe it exists. RealOEM is a copy of the BMW parts list up to December 2012 - so most likely the most recent release.

It's a 7 seater (see OPs first sentence.
)
Welcome Keith and congratulations on a fine looking machine.

Skye is a Labrador and will be 12 in April so we lift her in and out of the boot. The sill is so high.
Thanks for the dog guard link. We have three kids so will generally have five in the car. When we have more than that, I'm hoping the guard will be easy enough to dismantle.
Our last car (Omega estate) had one which took seconds to put up or down which was great. It also had lowered suspension so was much easier for Skye to get in and out

Good spot! But they're the 7-twin spoke one's, no idea on the design type....
